Nokia first foray into GPS market, the Nokia 330. It comes with a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen display, 2GB of memory (external memory card), ROUTE 66 Navigate 7 application, and European NAVTEQ map data. Nokia 330 is expected to shell out $458 when it hits Europe in Q4.

Navicore announced the availability of Nokia 770 GPS add-on kit, which will includes “Navicore Personal 2007, a Bluetooth GPS unit and car-mount device.” It measures only 6.4 x 2.2 x 1.5cm and it uses SiRF’s SiRFstar III GPS chip and incorporates a rechargeable battery that’s good for eight hours’ usage. It will be available Q4 2006 for $245.

Japanese PSP users will soon have the GPS system fixed on their PSP. The GPS system is called the MAPLUS portable Nabi shortly. This GPS turns the PSP in full navigation system with a moving map. It will be launched in mid-December, pricing is not available at this time.

The small GPS unit, the 4inch-tall Acer e310 GPS device which runs on Microsoft Windows CE is just about the size of an iPod. It comes with 2.8-inch 320×240 touchscreen, mp3 player, photo viewer, address book, SD/MMC memory slot, and of course its GPS function. It’s said to deliver four hours of navigation time or eight hours of other uses such as playing music. Pricing and availability has not been announced.
