BenQ Joybook Lite U101 netbook

Joybook Lite U101 latest netbook from BenQ. It has a 10.1 inch display with LED backlight and a 16:9 aspect ratio and that’s good enough for movie.BenQ is going to released 3,000 units U101 in Taiwan and 20,000 units to China this month. Price is still unknown.

This is the Kouziro aka FRNU302/BK, a Netbook from Frontier in Japan. The specs are quite average ~ Atom N270 powered, with 1GB of RAM, 120 or 160GB of HDD, a 10.1” WSVGA LCD, 945GSE Express Chipset, Wifi and running on XP Home or Pro or Vista Home Premium. Price started at ¥49800 (400€).

Rumor: Larger Screen Acer Aspire One on the way?

There are rumors around saying that Acer will be releasing a 10-inch display Acer Aspire One next year somewhere between February and March. The current is 8.9-inch. In addition, the company has also planned to release the large 14.1 inch LED-based Aspire One which is going for sub-$1,200 sometime next year. What do you think of this, could it be real?

MSI Wind U120 netbook

MSI is introducing its new Wind U120 netbook. This 2.2-pound netbook is powered by Intel’s Atom N270 CPU running at 1.6GHz and it comes with 10-inch display with 1024×600 px, 1GB of RAM, up to 160GB of hard drive space and “a 1.3- or 2-megapixel webcam and a 3- or 6-cell battery, depending on model”. It also has the 802.11b/g wireless, Ethernet LAN and Bluetooth, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, VGA output, and stereo speakers. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Hello everybody, take a look at the first Hello Kitty Netbook. Onkyo Japan’s Sotec will be releasing a new Netbook based on their C101K3W with a Hello Kitty design on it. It is powered by Atom N270 CPU and comes with 1GB of RAM, an Intel 945GSE Express, and 120GB HDD. Sony in Korea has announced its 11.1-inch wide notebook pc ‘VAIO TT Series’ which comes with the “Quick Charge” feature. It is powered by Intel’s latest Core 2 Duo processor (SU9400) and DDR2. The VAIO TT series will have three different colors for you to choose from, they are the black (model: VGN-TT16LN/B), gold (model: VGN-TT16LN/N) and red (model: VGN-TT16LN/R).
