ASUS has announced two new LED-backlight LCD monitor to their Designo series in Australia. They are the 23-inch MS238 and 21.5-inch MS228. Both monitors come with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 2ms response time, 170/160 degrees viewing angle and D-Sub and HDMI connectivities. The MS238 and MS228 are available at AUD$599 and AUD$499 respectively.

Digital Touch is introducing its T3-B. It is a coffee table sized unit that comes with built-in 26-inch multi-touch screen LCD and Wi-Fi connectivity letting you browse, chat, make orders on the table. You can also connect it to an optional receipt printer, a credit card reader or a TV tuner.

The 15mm thick “BenQ V2220″ claimed as the world’s slimmest 21.5-inch LED-backlit LCD widescreen monitor. It features 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and comes with both DVI and VGA connectors. It will be sold in Taiwan in the next couple of months. Price is still unknown.

This 23-inch widescreen monitor equipped with TN panel, supporting 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 3ms response time, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. LG Philips has develops an E Ink display that can be used like average newspaper. It measures 19” (25×40cm), this flexible E Ink display almost equivalent to an A3 page size and it weighs 130g with thickness 0.3mm.
