Alphascan has released two new 16:9 HD monitors ‘Femme Crystal’ in Korea market. They are adorned with Swarovski crystals. The 24-inch model ‘Femme Crystal P241DHS’ comes with 60000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time, HDMI port and built-in speaker while the 21.5-inch model ‘Femme Crystal P221D’ supports 50000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time.

EVGA has released their InterView 1700, the latest dual-monitor system, targeting on business presentations, researchers, physicians, financial consultants or creative professionals. It comes with two 17-inch LCD monitors that can be rotated 180 degrees vertically and folded 90 degrees horizontally. Both of them support native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and featuring 8ms response time and 500:1 contrast ratio. Samsung Electronics has announced two professional LCD monitors ‘Syncmaster 80 Series(model: F2080/F2380)’ in Korea. These display support 178-degree viewing angle and 150,000:1 contrast ratio, an adjustable stand and 15mm-thick slim bezel with a non-reflective black color. The Mitsubishi Viseo MDT243WG is 24.1-inch LCD that comes with WUXGA resolution with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 500cd/m2 brightness level. Other features include two HDMI ports, S-Video, DVI-D (HDCP), D-Sub 15, and a couple of 5-Watts speakers. It is available in Satin Black in Japan later this month for 99800 Yen ($1,048).

LG has released its W2286L, their latest LED Backlight TV and monitor. It features 2000000:1 (F-Mode) contrast ratio in a 20mm monitor, 1680×1050 resolution, two HDMI connectors, and consuming 40% less power than the normal 22” Monitor. Mitsubishi will soon released its new 20-inch energy-saving LCD display in Japan, the Diamodcrysta WIDE Seires. This LCD reduces power consumption up to 10W and supports 5000:1 contrast ratio. It will be out on July 3rd at 23,800(JPY).
