Aigo has a unveiled a series of AigoPad at the product launch event in the Beijing. The series include the 4-inch, 5-inch or 7-inch model and all of them were powered by Android OS. There’s no info on the speification yet. However, Aigo is going to release them in July. We’ll see by then.

LG announced the availability of its GT540 Android-powered smartphone. It will be available for the UK and Europe as LG GT540 Optimus. It runs on Android 1.6 os and comes with Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1500mAh battery, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, a 3″ QVGA touchscreen and support both DivX and H.264. LG is launching its new Android smartphone in UK this Labor Day, the LG Optimus (GT450). Running on Android OS 1.6 and comes with a 3-inch resistive touch screen (320 x 480), a 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot. It also has the SN Manager (Social Network) that allows you to stay connect with their Facebook, Twitter and Bebo accounts. Without having to access any applications, the Social Networking System (SNS) widgets will get the real-time status updates directly to the home screen. Video after the break.

It comes with a nice AMOLED 3.7” LCD with a 800×480 resolution, a T-DMB TV Tuner, a 5Mpix camera with AF, 500MB of internal memory with support of MicroSD Cards up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, HDMI out, and DivX support. Samsung has announced that their R0 PMP will be released in the US this April, priced at $99.99 for the 8GB and the 16GB model. The Samsung R0 PMP comes with 2.6” TFT LCD, FM Radio tuner, MicroSD and DviX, XviD and H.264 support. The touchscreen version R1 8GB and 16GB will be priced at $179.99 and $149.99 respectively.
