Ernie practices some blast beats

Looks like Ernie from Sesame Street gets a little crazy this time with his drum. This video is a bit sketchier than the prequel. The footage was harder to work with, and it’s generally not as quality due to Bert deciding whether or not he wants to go post that letter and having fights with the door. Musical Furnishing is introducing its Musical Rumble Series. It is a drum table with interchangeable and rearrangeable percussion inserts. They are four sizes of table to choose from. The smallest one accepts four of smaller instruments while the largest accept sixteen. All of them are hand built by NW Artist Tor Clausen in his Studio in Olympia WA. ABSOLUT QUARTET – automated multi-instrumental orchestral machine

Dan Paluska and Jeff Lieberman have created the ABSOLUT QUARTET, an automated multi-instrumental orchestral machine. This large-scale electromechanical sculpture consists of three instruments and thousands of parts to create music. The main timbre is a marimba played by balls shot from the robotic canon, other components which include a series of wineglasses played by little robotic fingers and an array of robotic percussive instruments”.
