Sanyo has released the LP-XL50 projector which can project 80-inch images from a distance of 49cm. The distance between the chassis and the wall may be just 8cm only. There’s actually a proprietary aspheric mirror in the optical system to reduce the projection distance. The projector comes with 4:3 image aspect ratio and 1024 x 768 resolution.
