Sony PlayStation Phone leaked

Yes, that’s the real PlayStation Phone that’ll be coming in early 2011 under Sony Ericsson. Unbelievable? Yep. The look’s pretty much final here, though I’d expect Sony to somehow pump up the visual styling of it to look slightly more ‘fun’ than just plain ol’ slide out gamepad. Sony is trying hard to push this baby out in Christmas, though that seemed to be rather harsh. This thing still doesn’t look very ‘final’ to me. Read more…

Flash Player 10.1 officially goes into BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7

Android 2.2 already has Flash Player 10.1 supported, so now Adobe is making the real big move to have their latest Flash Player in nearly all smartphones, except for one very arrogant fruit company’s smartphone. Yes, at their latest Max conference, Adobe has announce that their plug-in will be heading their way into Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 7, as well as BlackBerry OS (not sure whether only the 6 will have it, or older versions as well), and HP’s latest WebOS 2.0, the dying Symbian, MeeGo, and last but not least, the LiMo platform. Unfortunately, there’s still no timeline for a release on each platform, with Adobe only saying that that Flash 10.1 is “expected” to hit each mobile OS.

Touchscreen devices are very dirty, maybe kinky too.

In love with touchscreen phones and slates? Think again. Perhaps it’s a good idea to stick to your QWERTY smartphone for the moment. A Stanford University study found that if you put a virus on a touchscreen surface, about 30-percent of it will probably make its way to your fingertips. That’s where the journey starts. Read more…

KDDI’s latest phone is see-thru porn.

KDDI has launched a few new phones yesterday, but among all of them this is the most unique of all the balls. It’s called the X-RAY, and it’s called that for a reason. The new X-RAY phone is one of two new products in the company’s IIDA designer brand. Crafted by Tokujin Yoshioka, it’s a high-end Japanese clamshell with a 1-Seg TV tuner, NFC payments, and an 8 megapixel camera but with a translucent case (also available in blue and black). Nokia N900 to give users the option to dual-boot into MeeGo

Maemo 5 wasn’t amazing, admit it. Nokia knew that too, and they promised to let you have a taste of MeeGo if you have a Nokia N900. Yes, Nokia will allow you the option to dual-boot your N900 into MeeGo in the upcoming PR 1.3 update. It might take some more time, but there’s no harm in waiting a little longer, as that firmware is now on the precipice of becoming available.

Vertu to release a new QWERTY phone
