Apple has updated their Apple TV to version 3.0.2.

“This update is connected to the release of the Aperture 3.0, which made changes to how that software shares images over the local network and adds support for iPhoto’s Places and Faces features”

The Apple TV version 3.0.2 can be downloaded or installed from the Update Software option via Settings/General menu on Apple TV.

Sony Bravia NX800 HDTV features a full HD 1080p, edge LED-backlit LCD screen in 46-, 52-, or 60-inch. It is equipped with Motionflow 240Hz technology to get smooth on-screen motion. It features an integrated Wi-Fi, ambient light sensor, Sony’s Bravia Internet Video and Internet Widgets, the Bravia Engine 3 video processor, and both USB and DLNA support for photos, music, and video. It will be released on the March 2010 – priced around $2,300-$3,500.

Are you throwing extra cash on LCD TV? Check out this high-end one from Bang & Olufsen – the Bang & Olufsen 10-46. It is a 46-inch LCD TV, a successor to 40-inch version of BeoVision 10. It has similar technical specifications a LED backlight and 200Hz refresh rate. The BeoVision 10-46 will hit the store in selected markets in the April 2010. Pricing is not known at the moment, you can roughly guess it with the current 40 inch model that retails for sub-$10,000.

Samsung has come out with a new 30-inch AMOLED TV at the FPD 2009. This display has been claimed as the world’s first 30-inch AMOLED TV that supports 3D picture (stereoscopic) and full HD resolution. It measures only at 2.5mm thin and it is powered by Samsung’s patented Simultaneous Emission with Active Voltage (SEAV) technology and the Crosstalk technology to reduce dizziness and eye fatigue.

Samsung’s 55-inch 240Hz Full HD 3D LCD panel is being shown at the KES in Seoul (Korean equivalent of the CEATEC). Looks like it has some effect on games.

Samsung is showing off its new 3D LCD TV panel. Sized at 55-inch, comes with 240Hz refresh rate (usual 120Hz). Samsung extra hertz give the content more natural, vibrant and create no ghosting compared to those lower hertz. For the 3D, you’ll will need to use that glasses which going to make you looks like a fly. This TV will be shown at the IMID expo in South Korea.

Sony has released a new drip-proof universal remote, the RM-PZ3SD, compatible with most Sony TVs. It is available in several colors and proce at 2468 Yen ($29) in Japan this September 10th.
