LG has launched a set of 42 and 47” LCD TV in Korea that use 240Hz panel, similar to the “MotionFlow from Sony”. LG has improved its LCD contrast ratio so as colors and implemented an Anti-glare layer to the LCD. Vizio has announced its new XVT Series LCD TVs, the first two models ~ 42-inch SV420XVT ($1200) and the 47-inch SV470XVT ($1500). Both of them come with 4 HDMI inputs, 1080p resolution with 120Hz operation, Vizio’s Smooth Motion Technology, SRS TruSurround XT technology for virtual 5.1 surround sound, and complementing component, composite, and S-Video inputs. I can imagine I have of this large LCD TV in my room, that will be great.
