Samsung offers its CX225MD, the 22” LCD TV supporting 1080p, with a 1680×1050 resolution and with a FullHD logo. You will ask why 1680 x 1050 resolutions are used in this LCD, as the minimum resolution for a FullHD is 1920×1080. Well, 1680×1050 is the WSXGA+ resolution found on many PC screens and that’s how Samsung refurbishes their LCD for PC by putting a TV tuner and an HDMI port together and you’ve got a TV, it’s a 100% PC compatible.

Korea company BTC offers its 22” wide screen monitor – BTC ZEUS 5000 which works as computer monitor or a TV. It comes with its integrated TV tuner and it has DVI, D-SUB, RGB, S-VIDEO ports, a 1680×1050 resolution (rats, too short for 1080p/i), a 160° viewing angle, a 5ms response time, a 300cd/m2 brightness, and a 1000:1 ratio for contrast.

Panasonic Japan announced a limited black edition of its TH-58PZ600, the 58 inch Plasma TV. This super smooth finishing plasma has an analog and digital TV tuner, supports full 1,920×1,080 HD resolution and has a 4000:1 contrast ratio. The remote control also comes in black to match the TV. It measures 1,454 × 570 × 1,422mm and weighs 110 kg.

LG revealed the specs of its upcoming 42-inch Flatron M4200D display that provides auto-stereoscopic images (similar to the iFusion 3D) to onlookers without the need of a style-hindering glasses. It comes with full-HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 1600:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness, and 8ms response time. Pricing and availability has not been announced.
