October 18th, 2008

Do you ever overslept in LRT or train and miss your stop? Pyocotan has developed a device for that problem. The device is called Noriko-san, it’s like a sleep mask your wear and it shows an electronic scrolling display that scrolls your destination for all commuters to see. When arrived to your stop, maybe some people will give you a slap to wake up. Unfortunately not everyone can afford one as the device will need $200 to develop. Video after the break. Read more…

A Solar Powered Car caught by Police, thinking that its a UFO

September 11th, 2008

Marcelo da Luz has been driving his solar powered car across countries for past two years. When arrived to Alaska, somebody dialed 911 reporting for UFO sighting. Alaskan police came and pulled Marcelo for interrogation.

He was not taken to a secret bunker for experimentation as the police did not take the matter any further.

To my surprise, this is the seventh times that this saucer-shaped solar-powered vehicle has been pulled over for the same case, UFO sighting.

Miniature Olympics Stadium – the Village Version

August 13th, 2008

The China’s Olympics stadium also known as the “Bird’s Nest”, cost around $500 million and took 7 years to build. The stadium fits in 91,000 people and will host both of the opening and closing ceremonies, and also all of the athletic events for the 2008 Olympics.

Besides that, it has also inspired some Chinese villagers in Hangzhou city to make a smaller and cheaper version of the bird nest stadium. 10 bamboo master used 1,000 pieces of bamboos to build a Miniature Bird’s Nest stadium in the village. They have completed it in 2 weeks time. They also plan to organize some sports events in that nest such as beach ball, bow shooting, loop rolling, etc. Coo! Read more…

It has been long time I haven’t seen a weird thing like this. For those who are extremely tired after your long working hours or lazy, just sit tight on this Easy Climb chair and it will bring you up to the second floor. This device can hold up to 350 lb and travels up to 20′. It looks pretty cool actually but I’m just afraid when kids play around with it. More pictures after the break. Read more…

Coffin Car

July 31st, 2008

The box to put dead body has been modified to a working car. I wondered what is so cool about making a car out of coffin. But if the dead knows how to ride then that will be useful. It has steering to control the wheel, battery, and an engine inside. Take a look of what is inside, after the break. Read more…
