Volvo has come out with a Hybrid bus called the Volvo 7700. It is an eco-friendly bus which promises to reduce fuel consumption by 30%. Besides reducing oil consumption, it also reduces the discharge of particles and nitrous oxides by 40-50% compared to the diesel bus.
“With the Volvo I-Sam hybrid system, the bus can by powered by “an electric motor which is charged by the breaking system or the diesel engine which can be used separately or simultaneously.”

The Lamborghini Estoque has four doors, the first sedan in the history of Automobili Lamborghini. With a powerful front mid-engine, permanent all-wheel drive and a sophisticated, precision-tuned chassis, the Lamborghini Estoque boasts a unique technology package. The design is a little like the Reventon, the brake lamp lighting and the front design. Th e Lamborghini Estoque was shown at the Paris Motor Show 2008.

Wow, I would like to drive one these, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S. It is powered by a supercharged 5.5 liter V8 engine hand-built in the Mercedes-AMG engine shop in Affalterbach, producing 650 horsepower and achieving a top speed of 220 mph, it comes with a carbon fiber body, crystal antimony grey paint finish, and a soft top that can withstand sustained 200 mph+ top speeds. Every year, the LA Auto Show will pick the best of the best of designers to come out with some futuristic and creative automotive concept. Last year was about “green” this year the topic is about “2025 race car”, yeah, how the 2025 race car will look like. The designers there must have the really futuristic brain to design.
Here’s one of the best, called the MMR25 Rally Racer, it’s a Mitsubishi concept. Mitsubishi’s MMR25 is an all-electric race car powered by a revolutionary drivetrain. The forward-looking high output powertrain is comprised of four lightweight, high-efficiency, in-wheel electric motors whose output is boosted with the help of eight supplemental motors. The batteries are next generation units which are more powerful, fully recycle and capable of running up to 1,000 miles on a single charge. The battery pack mounted at the center and each side of the vehicle and they have positioned it low to the ground to give the car more stability and a lower center of gravity.
