Best Motoring, here’s a race between the 500hp MCR R34GT-R that weighs 3527lbs and the 2645lbs 320hp Amuse S2000 GT-1.
GT cars are divided into two groups which are the GT500 and GT300 (cars with not more than 500 and 300 horsepower [374 and 224 kW], respectively). These power outputs are capped using the use of intake restrictors although some heavier cars are given allowances to run larger restrictors to maintain parity.

Honda has launched their Civic Type R sedan in Japan and you can get one starting today in Japan. This Honda Civic boasts a normally aspirated 2.0-liter four cylinder (K20A) that eclipses 100 hp/liter, generates 225 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 159 lb-ft of torque at 6,100 rpm. It is mated with a six-speed manual transmission and 18-inch units shod with a set of Bridgestone Potenzas. This is the best-looking Civic sedan available in any market. More pics after the jump.

A Japanese company called Mitsuoka Motor unveiled a micro kit car “K-4”, it boasts a 50cc engine on its classical tested sports car body. It is developed for the DIY do-it-yourself customer in Tokyo. It consists of more than 500 parts and will takes about 40 hours to fix. The Kit-Car measures 8-feet long and can speed up to 50 kilometers (31 miles) an hour.

The 2008 Nissan Infiniti G37 coupe will be unveiled at the forthcoming New York Motor Show on this coming April. It now has a VQ37VHR VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) 3.7-liter V6 engine produces about 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. If features an advanced 4-Wheel Active Steer (4WAS) system for a better handling and braking. For the interior part, it has a touch-screen navigation system with XM NavTraffic real-time traffic function and a 9.3-gigabyte Music Box hard drive, RearView Monitor and an 11-speaker Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose audio system with 24-bit Burr Brown DAC and 3-way door speaker arrays with 10-inch woofers. Motorauthority provides the first look at the Giugiaro’s Vadhò hydrogen concept. This hydrogen car is powered by the same hydrogen fueled 6.0L V12 as used by BMW’s Hydrogen 7 mated to a semi-sequential automatic transmission. Aside from that, Vadhò also features a jet fighter-style tandem two-seater configuration, with dual controller joysticks and electronic drive by-wire technology. Watch the video after the jump.

Hyundai presented its ‘i30’ hatch on at the Geneva show. Not much information provided but the car i30 is said to be based on the all-new Kia Cee’d which comes with same engine range, the petrol motors will be the 1.4 – 109 horsepower, 1.6 – 122 horsepower and the 2.0 – 143-horsepower and for the diesel engine will be the 1.6CRDi – 90 horsepower and 115 horsepower, 2.0 CRDi – 140 horsepower.
