According to its creator, the 2009 Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS is the world’s first and only four door “topless on demand” supercar. It is powered by a 6.2L V8, churning out 670hp @ 6200rpm and 538 lb-ft of torque @ 4800rpm. It boosts from 0-62 mph at 3.4 seconds and archiving the top speed of 205mph. GreenGT of Switzerland has designed an electric car to compete in Le Mans but not sure if an electric car can meet of the requirements and specs of Le Mans race today. This prototype is made of FIA-spec carbon chassis with a fiberglass body. Featuring 2 water-cooled electric motors, each of them has 100 kW (2 x 100 kW) coupled to a differential gearbox patented by GreenGT. This 860kg electric car got its power from flexcell photovoltaic solar panels, and two lithium-ion batteries, each with 30kWh of power. 47-year-old Terry Watkins from The UK, has created the world’s smallest car ~ 39 inches tall, 26 inches wide and 51 inches long which is almost half the size of the current world record holder. The little car is powered by the engine found on lawn mower and has got the chassis from children’s toy car. Watkins has put on working headlights and tail lights, windshield wipers, signals and horn, and he got his license plate making it fully street legal. Vermot AG is going to debut The Veritas RS III at the London Salon Privé in July. This 2,400 pounds ride is made of a tubular frame and a carbon/Kevlar body. There are two BMW M-sourced powertrains to choose from, 480hp V8 or 600hp V10. The Veritas boosts to 60mph at 3 seconds and achieved a top speed over 200 mph with either engine. It has a specially engineered supercharger and a ram-charged sport air filter system + a high performance stainless steel exhaust. With the main focus on optimizing the power-to-weight ratio, R8 just lost 521 lbs that helps to increase torque to 600Nm, shooting to 60mph at 3.7 and goes to the max 200mph.
