No worry, no one will stare at your expensive car the whole day because this transparent garage features LCD sandwiched in between the concrete which can be electronically darken. The latest creation from RUF, the 2007 RUF R Kompressor based on Porsche’s 997. This car features a supercharged, 3.8L flat-6 that produces 435hp @ 7000rpm and 347 ft-lb torque @ 5000rpm; it accelerates in 4.1 seconds from 0-60mph. The basis of the supercharged engine is the centrifugal Kompressor with a planetary gear box. This supercharger works like a mechanic turbo charger which is operated by a v-belt. The engine has an aluminium intake manifold developed by RUF with two integrated intercoolers, optimized injection valves, a lower base compression, sport catalytic converters with greater performance and a newly adjusted electronic engine management system. RM Auctions will be offering the Beatnik, a custom-pimped BUBBLETOP 1955 FORD from designer Gary “Chopit” Fioto in Monterey, California, August 18. It’s a vision of the future from the past, but you can buy it now. They took four years to modify this car, and include Cadillac and Lincoln components. The car’s estimated value will be around $350,000 – $450,000.

The high-performance roadster, the Tesla Roadster launched by Independent Silicon Valley-based automaker Tesla. Tesla Roadster is an all-electric car capable of accelerating to 60 mph in just 4 seconds, while offering equivalent mileage of 135 mph, and a 250 mile range. High-performance roadster is capable of hanging with a Ferrari F430, Porsche Carrera S, or BMW M5. The car has a top speed of 130 mph, the automaker said. Funding came from several big names in the technology world, including Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Availability of the Tesla Roadster in the United States is expected to begin next summer.

Mitsubishi has announced their new Lancer Evolution IX, a more powerful version sports car for the British market. A development of the FQ-340, the new FQ-360 features a 366 hp version of Mitsubishi’s 2.0-litre turbo engine. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) is fully reprogrammed to create a car that delivers 366bhp at 6887rpm and 363lb ft of torque at 3200rpm.The peak output of 363lb ft is 8lb ft more than the FQ-400 produced and is delivered 2200rpm lower down the rev range. The torque output is the key to this car’s character. It’s also 18lb ft more than the FQ-340. The car will sprint from 0-60mph in an estimated 4.1sec and top 160mph.
