Hybrid Technologies has come out with an all-electric supercar, featuring a 150-170 mile range, along with “a gasoline-electric hybrid that aims to capture the Automotive X Prize by managing at least 220 mpg.” Pricing and availability has not been announced. Edo has done some work on the Ferrari Enzo, by replacing the intake with a revised ram-air system and a set of high-flow air filters, then put on a set of headers similar to those in the FXX, along with a duo of high-flowing cats and a new exhaust system with remote-controlled, butterfly valves that allow the sound levels to be adjusted on the fly. A modified ECU has been installed, the monster now produces 700 hp and 527 lb.-ft. of torque. Edo claims that this Enzo will boost 0 to 62 mph in 3.5-seconds, then to 186mph takes 22 seconds. The Perodua Nautica was launched the other day. It is the successor to Perodua’s Kembara, the Nautica was the first premium product imported from Japan by Perodua. Basically, it is a Perodua-badged version of the short wheelbase Daihatsu Terios/Toyota Rush. The front bumper and the grille is different from Rush, they are made locally in Malaysia while the rest are completely assembled from Japan. Hmmm… the chassis is about the same like the one in Toyota Avanza but with additional reinforcements to make it 30% stiffer than its derivative models.
