HTC has announced its Snap, a new smartphone that runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS and features full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch(320 x 240, no touch srceen), 2.0-megapixel camera, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooch 2.0+EDR, quadband GSM and dualband HSDPA/WCDMA. The phone is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm CPU , 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM. The HTC Snap will be available in selected channels in Q2 2009. In addition, the unlocked version which supports HSDPA at 850/1900MHz for US will be available during the summer under the name HTC S522.

Motorola has released its Evoke QA4. It has a 2.8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, on-screen QWERTY keyboard and also a slide-out keypad with actual keys. It also has the customizable widgets, RSS feed subscriptions, and a built-in web browser. No words on pricing and availability.

Sony Ericsson has announced its T707 clamshell, a partnership with tennis star Maria Sharapova. T707 will light up whenever you receive a call and you can personalize the light to each of your friends. When you are too busy to answer a call, just wave your hand over the screen to simply end the call. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, bluetooth, FM Radio receiver and 2.2-inch display screen. Color options include Mysterious Black, Spring Rose and Lucid Blue.
