The Nikon D300s will be out for sale in late August 2009. It takes two-year old D300 and gives it a modest upgrade by giving it the improved 12.3-megapixel sensor from the D90, automatic Active D-Lighting, one-touch Live View, 24fps, 720p D-Movie recording with Autofocus, 7 fps shooting (8 with battery grip), and a stereo microphone input. Here’s Fujifilm’s last digital camera, the FinePix J30. It is a 12-megapixel camera that features a new Panoramic shooting mode, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, Picture Stabilization mode, Face Detection technology with auto red-eye removal, maximum ISO sensitivity to 3200 (at 3MP), and a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charger. The FujiFilm FinePix J30 digital camera is going to be available this August while price has not been confirmed this time.

Olympus has announced its Stylus Tough 6010 (µ TOUGH-6010 in Europe), rugged compact camera series. The hardcore camera is waterproof up to 3 meters, freeze proof up to -10 degrees and shockproof up to 1.5 meters. Featuring 12MP sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD with Tap Control, a 3.6x optical zoom lens. TakaraTomy’s latest digital camera, Mubingufoto, is a camera targeting on high school girls. The comes with a resolution of 200k pixels (0.2MP only?), 1GB onboard memory, a memory slot, a LCD for viewing pics and variety of special effects for adding to the photo. This camera will be available next week in Japan for 10,750 Yen ($ 110). I thought it was a phone at the first glance.

AgfaPhoto is introducing its DC-600uw digicam, a camera for underwater and outdoor that can withstand the pressures of up to two bar and water-resistant at depths of up to 10 meters. This 6.0-megapixel camera comes with a 2.4-inch display, a digital zoom, and the face recognition function. The Agfa DC-6000uw is coming out in July, priced at $210.

Pentax has announced its new water+dust+shock-proof digital camera called the Optio W80. It features a 12M CCD with a 5x zoom lens, 2.5-inch LCD screen, and supports 720p HD video recording function. It is available in red, grey and blue this coming July for $300.

Fujifilm is going to release a new point-and-shoot camera in Japan next with, it is the FinePix Z300. It is a 10-megapixels camera that comes with 5.7x optical zoom, a 100 to 1600 ISO speed, a 31MB of internal memory, and a 3-inch touch LCD display. It can support both SD and SDHC cards. They haven’t uncovered the pricing.
