Here’s a new gaming mouse for your PlayStation 2 from SplitFish, the EdgeFX. It is a mouse with the Dual Shock controller’s four face buttons on its side and accompanied by a secondary controller that houses the analog and D-pads as well. It’s currently compatible with PS2 only and you can start check out at retail stores this week, should be around $70.

Sony Japan has released firmware version 3.0 for the PSP which includes a few addition such as the Auto UMD setting which will prevents a game from loading when the UMD is inserted. There will be a camera function which allows you to use the coming add-on camera for PSP. The main addition will be the tight integration with the PS3 which allows you to view images and play music stored on the PS3 when connected via Wi-Fi. You will be allowed to use the PSP as a remote control for the PS3 (Remote Play). This version 3.0 is available at the Sony PlayStation Japan site. More pics…

Here’s a bad news. On the October 24th of 2006, Lik-Sang.com the big and popular gaming retailer from Hong Kong, announced that it is forced to close down due to multiple legal actions brought against it by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Sony claimed that Lik-Sang infringed its trade marks, copyright and registered design rights in selling the Sony PSP consoles from Asia to European customers, and have recently obtained a judgment in the High Court of London (England) rendering Lik-Sang’s sales of PSP consoles unlawful. As of today, Lik-Sang.com will not be in the position to accept any new orders and will cancel and refund all existing orders that have already been placed.
