Fire fire burning on your iPhone 4, oh oh!

Fire fire burning on your iPhone, oh oh!

It’s not an everyday story that Apple products got burned by Portgas D. Ace. But once in a blue moon, we still get some ‘idevice got burned or exploded’ news from nowhere. This just proves that there are no ‘0% defects’ in manufacturing, no matter how strict your QC is. Apple’s products getting faulty or malfunction is a common news for me, but a brand new iPhone 4 that got burned out of the blue is really shocking, considering the ‘just released’ status of the product.

Uplink Audio Strap System offers solar power for runners on the run

Uplink Audio Strap System offers solar power for runners on the run

The Uplink Audio Strap System is a weird concept. Now why would I say it’s weird? Now for start, it gives those joggers another option to listen to music on the go, if they hate the plug-in ear buds. That means it’s a great stuff for nerdy joggers who love to show off their latest gadgets. But then, the concept from Adam Hammerman has a very high-tech ultrasound speakers, which can connect to nearly all your mobile devices and portable music players. It’s so high tech, that no matter how loud you blast the music, only you can hear the sounds. Others by-passers won’t be able to hear a single hum from this new toy. But if you’re going to show off this to the whole world, why restrict the sounds to only yourself? Totally redundant!

But of kush, the tech doesn’t stop there. This new concept is trying to make you go green with the integrated solar panel, which is flexible. Though it’s just a concept, but I wonder how long you can power up the player with such small solar panels.

Apple Friend Bar, for Apple fanboys who got no friends.

July 8th, 2010

Can’t really comment on this, but still, it’s a good source of laugh. This video can’t really be referred to, as it somehow shows that Apple fanboys got not many friends, well at least not many that can talk ‘Apple geek talk’ with them.

French flavored Apple store goes live in Paris

French flavored Apple store goes live in Paris

Unlike typical Apple store with its chrome and glass windows, this new concept store by Apple is actually the old bank in Paris. It’s good to know that Apple has kept all those French looks nicely intact. All the wooden stairs and wrought-iron railings, to the marble columns and mosaic tile floor. Of kush, some reinforcement was made to further strengthen the building, besides renovations to add in those techy displays and counters and sofa. Honestly this has to be the most elegant concept store I’ve ever seen.

The iPod/iPhone docking station market has been blasting crazily, that users have been spoilt for bizarre choices. Things go one step above when Lenco introduce this new iPod dock radio. As most of the docks in the market are rather bulky to be carrying around, the Lenco Portable iPod dock would be the best choice.

The iPhone has always been a very fun phone to play with. But the only let down would be the small screen. I’m not sure how many people that love watching movies in a small screen, but I sure ain’t one of them. I still prefer to watch movies in front of my big tee vee on my comfy sofa. Now Konnet has given us a real nice accessory for our iPhone.

Alien orbs sing with our iPods and iPhones

June 10th, 2010

iCrystal

Floating half orbs with deem blue lights, Pandora age design, and a row of touch-sensitive menus. For a moment there, I thought those orbs might fly, and the station can hover around with build-in laser-beams coming out of hidden holes around their titanium-like band. But then, all that they could do is sing! How irony! For a moment there I thought they’re from Mars, made by the EF-SF (Earth Federation – Space Force in Gundam’s universe) research lab.

iPod Touch coming with Camera?

The Vietnamese website is getting their hands on the iPod Touch prototype that comes with a camera. The label sticks behind the iPod shows that it was manufactured by Foxconn and comes with 64GB of memory and a 2-megapixel camera. I wondered where they get those prototypes. More pictures after the break. Read more…
