LG's first dual LCD notebook pc 'R200'

LG Electronics will launch their dual LCD notebook pc tomorrow in Korea, the R200. It has a 2.5-inch external LCD monitor at the front surface which allows you to enjoy your MP3 playback, photo and mini games. This external screen can be use even if you not logged into Windows. R200 comes with a 12.1-inch wide display, 2GB memory, 160GB HDD (1GB Turbo memory), super multi drive, wireless LAN 802.11n-draft, Triple Hexa-band Antenna and supports ATI HD 2400 and 135Mbps data transfer speed. The LG R200 will be available in a suggested price of 2,240,000 KRW ($2,442). Read more…

HP NVY M:152 Laptop

Hewlett-Packard has released the new Voodoo laptop, the ENVY M:152. It is powered by the latest Intel Core 2 Extreme X7800 processor. The laptop comes with the Santa Rosa platform, up to 4GB RAM, 1680 x 1050 resolution, Nvidia GeForce 8600GT graphics card with 512MB memory, expandable hard drive and dual layer DVD burner. The laptop even features a TV Tuner, 2.0MP webcam, microphone, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and a/g/n wireless. The Hewlett-Packard ENVY M:152 will be priced around $3300.

Asus Notebook Accidental Damage Warranty

Good news, Asus offers a one year Notebook Accidental Damage Warranty (ADW) Program, free of charge for US and Canadian users. The warranty covers accidental damages including drops, spills, fire or electrical surges. The offer is valid for Asus laptop purchases on/after September 10th, 2007. This is a great warranty, normally warranty don’t cover drops and spills which commonly happen.

LG Electronics has launched their 12-1-inch laptop the “XNOTE E200 Series”. It is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor powered notebook and features a hybrid HDD supporting improved program running and booting speed. It boasts 1GB memory, 120GB hard disk (hybrid 256MB), ATI Radeon X1250, 1.3M Smart Cam, three USB ports and HDMI port. Sony has announced the Vaio C series targeting the female users. Its design look likes a shoulder bag and available in four glossy colors, they are the pure white, red, indigo blue and luxury pink. Its new keyboard design gives female users with long nails confortable to type. These laptops are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor at 2 Ghz, running on Windows Vista and comes with 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, DVD super drive, 1.3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Felica and 13.3 inch display (1280 x 800 pixels). A single charge gives you 3.5 hours of working. It measures 335.1×249×21~38.3mm and weighs 2.5 kgs. The Vaio C series will be available for 104,800 Yen ($ 903) in Japan this September 8. Another Dell Exploded

Another Dell goes boom two days ago, exploding battery. An IT admin, Douglas Brown’s who was working at an Ohio hospital got his Dell 9200 caught fire inside his home. He said that it looks like fireworks.

XtremeNotebook has released their Xtreme 917V notebook, the first laptop in US to offer the new Intel Core 2 Quad processor in its Xtreme 917V notebook. It features RAID 0, 1 or 5, a dual video card setup, and the choice between triple Solid State or SATA 300 hard drives. Xtreme 917V notebook will be from $3,359 onwards.
