Sharp has announced their latest North American LCD TV, the D65U series of LCD HDTV’s. It features:
• Native 1080p resolution
• 42″ to 52″ sizes
• Energy Star-compliant
• Active backlight and contrast controls
• Sharp’s Advanced Super View and Black TFT Panel technologies
• 176-degrees viewing angle
• Five HDMI ports
• Two composite inputs
• One S-video, PC-in, and RS-232C

Sony is proud to introduce its sexy world’s thinnest LCD TV, called it Sony KDL-40ZX1. It is a 40-inches LCD TV that measures only at 9.9mm thick and weighs 26 pounds. Featuring LED backlighting, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow tech, x.v.Color, BRAVIA Engine 2 image processing and priced only at $4,474 after conversion from ¥. This slimmy will be released in Japan on November 10th, 2008.

Great! Driver needs the GPS and passenger needs entertainment. Now, Hyundai is looking towards incorporating the dual-view LCD technology for their future vehicles. This new technology allows two different views between the driver and the front passenger from one centrally mounted LCD display. Meaning to say, the driver can check outs the GPS and at the other side, the front passenger can enjoy movie. Hyundai will be putting on this technology in its Grandeur saloons first.

Featuring 1680 x 1050 native resolutions, 2ms response time, 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, built-in webcam, speakers, and HDMI connectivity. Wow! I didn’t know that cyclist can also have sound system on the bicycle. Check out this one, four woofers on the back, set of speakers at the front and back and at the handle should be the player and LCD. I think he needs a better rear wheel, it is flatten.
