Michael Dell, daddy of the mighty Dell, has teased the rest of the public with a 7-inch glass that looks kind of funky. What he pulled out from his pocket is an Android tablet. Besides showing that he could fool around with that piece of glass device, Dell also announced that the smaller Streak is heading to Best Buy next month. Hopefully it’s running on Froyo, or else all fun would be spoilt.

LG announced the availability of its GT540 Android-powered smartphone. It will be available for the UK and Europe as LG GT540 Optimus. It runs on Android 1.6 os and comes with Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1500mAh battery, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, a 3″ QVGA touchscreen and support both DivX and H.264. The Blackberry Pearl 3G comes with small body, small screen and small keyboard with 802.11n Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, an optical trackpad, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 624 MHz processor with 256MB of RAM. It comes a 3.7-inch, 480×800 AMOLED capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Android 2.1 with the HTC Sense UI, an optical joystick, an eight megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and basic features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes with a nice AMOLED 3.7” LCD with a 800×480 resolution, a T-DMB TV Tuner, a 5Mpix camera with AF, 500MB of internal memory with support of MicroSD Cards up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, HDMI out, and DivX support. Nokia has announced three phones today, the Nokia E5, C3, C6 (left to right). All three are running on Symbian platform and support multiple email accounts, IM communities and social networks.
Nokia C3 is the series’ first QWERTY messaging phone. It is pre-installed with Nokia Ovi Mail and Ovi chat with social networking shortcut at the home screen. You view, comment, update status and share pictures at your favorite social networks like Facebook and Twitter. The C3 features built-in Wifi, 2.0-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch display and a microSD memory expansion slot. The C3 will be available this quarter at 90 euro.
The Nokia C6 is a smartphone that comes with both 3.2-inch touch screen and slide QWERTY keypad. It has better camera in 5.0-megapixel resolution. This will go for 220 eruo.
Nokia has put in a new phone in the Eseries, the E5. With business feature, the E5 can also be used for social networking and multimedia site. It has built-in WiFi, A-GPS, HSPA, bluetooth and 5 megapixel camera. Available in Q3 for 180 euro.
