Sprint and HTC has announced the availability of the world’s first 4G Android handset that is 10 times faster than 3G. It is available via Sprint, this HTC EVO 4G delivers a multimedia experience at 4G speeds that is second to none, making it possible to download music, pictures, files, or videos in seconds, not minutes. You can stream video on the go with the largest pinch-to-zoom displays, at 4.3 inches.
The HTC EVO 4G is powered by 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8.0-megapixel camera, Mobile hotspot capability connects up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices, HDMI connection (cable needed – connect to your HDTV to watch HD movies), GPS navigation, microSD slot (support up to 32GB), 3.5mm jack, digital compass, motion sensor, and HTC Sense (award winning user interface that takes social networking, navigation and customization to new level).

Samsung has launches its “Corby F” phone, a clamshell version Corby in Korea market. It comes with a 2.6-inch screen, 3MP camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth, e-dictionary, T-DMB etc. It is available in Candy Pink, Lime Green and Blue Black. Priced at 600,000(KRW).

Nokia has released a new Gold Edition of its N97 mini. Specs remains same – .2 inch touchscreen display, 8 GB internal memory, QWERTY keyboard, 3G, Wi-fi, HSDPA, FM and of course, the awesome 5MP camera.

The Alcatel OT-808 looks great, I think it goes well with the Nokia Twist.
The OT-808 clamshell comes with QWERTY, a 2.4 QVGA, a 1.1 inch OLED display, Bluetooth, FM, Opera Mini browser, a 2 megapixel camera, social networking, email and instant messaging support. It will cost you only $125.

It is an active smartphone that features mobile Internet, messaging, GPS localization, video calling, Bluetooth, a 2.8 inch touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, music player, and 3G. It is also a great phone for those who are into sports or outdoor activities as it comes with GPS, a compass, a pedometer, GPS tracker, and stopwatch. It’s back is equipped with solar panel so you can get it charging anyway in the day without looking for power outlet. No word on pricing.

With the successful LG Cookie that sold up to ten millions, LG decided to launch the LG Cookie Plus aka LG GS500. This Cookie Plus is also a full touch-screen phone but with better graphical interface and convenient social networking connectivity. It features a 240 x 400 pixels, 3.0 inches display, accelerometer sensor, microSD that support up to 16GB, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, 3.2-MP camera and color options include black, silver and purple. That will be nice if they put on WiFi connectity but too bad they didn’t. LG Cookie Plus will be released in coming March 2010, priced at $230 excluding tax. Read more…
LG has released a new phone called the LG Mini. It comes with a 3.2-inch 16:9 touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with advanced face detection, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, a built-in FM radio, microSD storage with music and video playback, and social-focused applications such as Social Network Connect, a Social Network Feed, and a Social Address Book. Pricing is still unknown.
