Nokia is introducing its new Symbian OS UIQ mobile phone in China, Nokia 6708 which features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 130K color and a 2.66-inch of 65K TFT LCD touch screen. It also has hand-writing recognition software and it is chargeable through mini USB. It comes with pre-installed software like PowerPoint, Words, Email application and GPRS connectivity. Sony Ericsson today announces the 3G music phone V630i, exclusively for Vodafone. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera with digital zoom, 1.9-inch 262K color TFT LCD with 176 x 220 pixels, HTML full browser with RSS, music player which supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, Java MIDP 2.0, 3D games, VGA video telephony camera and Bluetooth connectivity. The Sony Ericsson V630i is a UMTS 2100 device especially for Vodafone Group and will be available in June. Price is still unknown.

Last week NTT DoCoMO has announced an amazing 3G mobile, the SO902iWP+ that has the same waterproof efficiency up to IPX7 class and can stand underwater for 30 minutes before everything went haywire. Sony Ericsson announced Tri-band GPRS clamshell phone, Z550 this week. Sony keeps coming out with new mobile almost every week. The Z550 features a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 4x digital zoom, onboard 20MB memory expandable to 1GB (M2), FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and e-mail application. It has 262k color TFT display with 220 x 176 pixels and 128 x 36 pixels on STN sub display. Its available in Sterling Black or Pearl Copper during Q3 2006.
