This is the VEDIA Idunn A1, an MP3 player designed by Polish jeweler Jaroslaw Westermark. It features 18 carat gold, high-grade silver, and Baltic amber. There were only 10 units produced. Get your pre-order and wait for about two months. No words on pricing so far.

This is the Nextar MA809 portable media player. It measures only 0.25 inch thin which is almost half of iPhone 3G. It is capable of playing MP3/WMA audio files, JPEG/BMP/GIF picture files, AVI video files and also has a FM radio. The MA809 PMP will be out in the second quarter 2009, 2GB for around $100 while 8GB goes $149.

The World’s Smallest Music Player goes to the Apple’s new iPod Shuffle, it is also the world’s first music player that talks to you. The new Shuffle (to be exact: 1.8″ tall x 0.3″) is even smaller than the previous version which is already small.

It has a 2.4-inch display with blinking LED ‘Red Eye’, e-dictionary function, video/audio playback, FM radio, photo/text viewer, voice recorder and microSD slot that support up to 8GB capacity. Samsung Korea has announced a new Firmware upgrade on their Yepp P3. The upgrades include an improved UI (30% faster) and the ability to directly watch AVI video without conversion.
