MAXIAN M1T Pocket Multi TV PMP

The MAXIAN M1T Pocket Multi TV is a PMP that runs on Windows CE 5.0 OS. It measures 106.5x61x14.1mm and weighs 127g, features 3.5” (HVGA) touch screen, DMB TV Tuner and choose from 8GB or 16GB and expandable with SD/SDHC slot. The MAXIAN M1T will support MP4, WMV9, H.264, MPEG-2, AVI, DivX, XviD video files, and MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, AAC, FLAC, APE audio files.

Samsung YP-P3 MP3 player in Korea

Samsung Electronic has launched its new premium MP3 player in Korea, that is the YP-P3 that features Haptic UI. The player comes with a 3-inch wide touchscreen with 480 x 272 resolution, 0.8W built-in speaker, Bluetooth with A2DP support and electronic dictionary function. Besides that, it also supports DNSe 3.0 technology, ‘Quick Menu’, ‘Wise Volume’ and ‘Vibe Woofer’ functions. The Samsung YP-P3 is available in Black or Silver colors and will be priced at 239,000KRW for 4GB, 279,000KRW for 8GB, and 329,000KRW for 16GB.

iRiver E50 music player

iRiver has launched its E50, a small music player that comes in brushed metal design on its front. This player is capable of playing various music formats and there’s a FM radio with recorder to .wav too. The 1.8-inch display will show you the tracks info and the voice recorder allows you to record some important speeches. It has 52 hours of battery life and there’s also bundled software that runs on Windows. Choose from 2, 4 or 8GB.

Energy Sistem’s 4040 Touch PMP

Here’s Energy Sistem’s 4040 Touch portable media player. It has a a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a built-in microphone, an FM tuner, and supports various audio and video file formats. The 4040 priced at €120. Oh yeah, there are also 5020 and 5021 models, which taking off the touchscreen and reduced the storage to 4GB ~ these PMPs will cost somewhere around €85.

Korean manufacturer Maxian has announced its new M1 EDU PMP which is powered by Dual Core CPU and it’s running on WinCe 5.0. The device comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen LCD, digital TV (DMB), FM radio, dictionaries, SD card slot for photos and compatible files, and it supports video codecs (Mpeg 1 to 4, WMV, AVI) and MP3 or WMA format files. I know you have seen this one, but don’t get confused; this is the Rolly SEP-50BT. Yes a new one, Sony has updated the Rolly. Compare to its predecessor Rolly SEP-10BT, this new Rolly has the double memory at 2GB and comes with a Bluetooth feature where you can control it using a cellphone or PC. The Rolly Remote software is included, which allows you to control the movement of Rolly and if you are loaded, you can get up to 7 Rollys and control them from your PC. Philips's Bluetooth-enabled GoGear LUXE DAP

Philips GoGear LUXE DAP is a jewel-like MP3 player that comes with Bluetooth 2.1 that can be paired with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. The player actually pause the music tracks and allows you to answer you to answer a call. Whenever there’s incoming calls, the caller’s ID and number will be displayed on Luke’s display. It has 2GB of storage for your tracks and there’s also a FM tuner for you in case if you forgot to update your tracks. Its battery will provide you 10 hours of playback or 100 hours in standby. There’s word saying that the Luxe will appear in Singapore next month at SGD139 ($92), some other Asian countries should be seeing after the some time.
