Yuta Sugiura and his co-mate at the Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University have developed a new robot called Walky. It is controlled using iPhone rather than using some keyboard or traditional controller. Walking, turning, jumping, kicking, and other actions can be performed by the simple finger gestures on the iPhone’s touch screen.

“Walky follows in the finger-steps of their laundry-folding robot and UI system called Foldy.”

Fukitorimushi is a cleaning robot that moves like a worm and cleans up your floor. It is made of world’s first nano-level superfine polyester fiber. This type of cloth can absorb oil and pick up very fine dust particles. The robot will light up red when it spots a dirt area and then will start rubbing the dirt away and then go clean other places.
